NEWAG to Supply eight IMPULS EMUs for Lubelskie Province

Today, NEWAG S.A. and the Marshal Office of the Lubelskie Province signed a contract for the supply of eight new two-car Impuls 2 electric multiple units.

The gross value of the contract amounts to PLN 146.6 million and the order will have been executed completely by December 2021. NEWAG grants  64 month guarantee period for each EMU delivered.

The electric multiple units will be able to transport 196 passengers including 105 on seats and will travel with a speed of 160 km/h. They will be equipped with WiFi, air conditioning, electric sockets and USB ports. Disabled passengers will be able to travel safely and comfortably thanks to the lifts mounted and the specially adapted train interior.  IMPULS 2 will also have a passenger counting system, interior monitoring and passenger information system. There will also be adesignated place for transporting bicycles.
