NEWAG S.A. wins Małopolska Business Award
Marek Sowa, Marshal of Małopolska Province, officially presented NEWAG S.A. with the Małopolska Business Award in the category:the Best Big Company during the gala ceremony of the Annual Business in Małopolska Meeting held in Kraków.
The winners were selected by the Małopolska Business Board consisting of a group of experts — entrepreneurs and professors from Małopolska’s major universities. The Board members support activities of the local authorities with their knowledge and experience in the field of economy.
The award promotes the best companies from the region of Małopolska, their pro-investment attitudes and particular achievements in the scope of innovations. It also contributes to enhancing competitiveness of companies.
Forty companies competed in this year’s edition of the contest in three categories: small, medium-size and big company.
The winners were presented with statuettes. They also have a right to use the title “Winner of the Małopolska Business Award 2015 in the Category: Small/Medium/Big Company”. Furthermore, the Marshal submits the winners’ names to the list of candidates to the Business Award of the President of the Republic of Poland.
